Our Heritage

Seven Generations of Mastery

The art of oud distillation is not learned overnight. It is inherited, nurtured, and passed down through bloodlines that understand the sacred bond between humanity and nature.

Our Journey

1850s

The Beginning

Our great-great-great-grandfather discovered the art of agarwood distillation in the mountains of Cambodia, learning from indigenous masters who had perfected the craft over millennia.

1920s

Expansion

The family business grew, establishing partnerships with forest communities across Southeast Asia. Traditional copper stills were refined, and aging techniques were perfected.

1970s

Preservation

As agarwood became increasingly rare, we pioneered sustainable harvesting methods, ensuring the forests would survive for future generations while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Today

Modern Legacy

The seventh generation continues the tradition, blending ancient wisdom with modern understanding. Every bottle honors our ancestors while looking toward a sustainable future.

The Art of Distillation

Our distillation process remains largely unchanged from the methods used centuries ago. We use traditional copper stills, hand-carved from single pieces of metal, that have been in our family for generations.

The wood is carefully prepared, soaked, and slowly steamed over weeks. Master distillers monitor every stage, adjusting temperature and timing based on intuition honed over decades.

After distillation, the precious oil is aged in darkness, sometimes for years, allowing it to mature into the complex, layered fragrances that define our collection.
